What is a Dibond aluminum photo print?

An Alu Dibond print is a photograph printed on a rigid and lightweight composite panel (two thin aluminum sheets + a polyethylene core). Matte or glossy: which do you recommend?

In 90% of interiors (windows, grazing lighting), I recommend matte Alu Dibond to limit reflections and preserve blacks/contrasts, especially in black & white .

How to maintain an Aluminum Dibond board?

A soft, dry cloth is all you need. Avoid abrasive products. Also avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

2) Formats, parts & installation

How to choose the right size?

The size depends on the distance from the room and its function :
• Living room : long panoramic view above a table/sofa to balance the span.
• Corridor / staircase : vertical which follows the perspective.
• Bedroom / office : horizontal centered, calm atmosphere.

At what height should it be installed?

Aim for a center of the image at ~150–160 cm from the floor (adjust if the picture is above a seat).

What are the steps after ordering?

  1. Approval of the visual and format.
  2. Production (printing, mounting on matte Dibond aluminum , hanging frame).
  3. Quality control.
  4. Secure packaging and delivery .

Can we make it custom-made?

Yes (large format, coordinated series, technical requirements). Request a custom quote .

Average delays

Depending on format/volume: allow for production and transport . Urgent project? Let me know so we can adjust the schedule.

4) Delivery, packaging & installation

How are the paintings packaged?

Enhanced protection (corners/foam/reinforcements) for a reception in perfect condition.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, with reliable logistics partners (depending on the country). Please provide your address to estimate costs and delivery times.

Can you handle the pose?

I provide the hanging system. Installation: by you or via a local provider; I can coordinate/brief if needed.

5) Professional projects (B2B)

Which professionals do you work with?

Architects, decorators, hotels, developers, headquarters, retail. Examples:
• Chamonix (B2B) : I provided the HD image for a lightbox ; manufacturing by the client's service provider.
• Zermatt (premium private) : selection → simulation → complete production → delivery .

B2B process type

Brief → image selection & integration mockup → format/finish validation → production (possibility of multi-site) → coordination of delivery/installation.

Professional & Series Pricing

Yes, custom quotes for volumes, series per floor/building, special finishes (backlighting/lightbox via provider), XL formats.

6) Prices, returns & warranty

How are the prices set?

Depending on the format, finish, complexity and logistics. Clear quote after briefing (and simulation if desired).

Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Made-to-order product: specific conditions apply as required by law. Contact me before ordering if you have any questions (size, finish). I prefer to provide a simulation to avoid any disappointment.

Guarantee

Systematic quality control. In case of a proven defect (printing/substrate/fixing), I replace or redo it.

Is the painting ready to hang?

What height do you recommend?
