Photos of La Meije, Barre des Écrins, glaciers and wild valleys
The Écrins maintain a very mineral character. The collection brings together La Meije, the Barre des Écrins, the Glacier Blanc, the Pré de Madame Carle, the Emparis plateau and the wilder valleys of Valgaudemar.
This selection of photos of the Écrins also shows Mont Pelvoux and Pic Sans Nom, the Rouies plateau, Lake Laramon facing the Barre des Écrins and Lake Lauvitel. It thus combines high peaks, glaciers, high-altitude lakes and valleys of the massif without reducing the Écrins to a single point of view.
The production of artworks of the Écrins massif is made to order on matte Dibond aluminium, a medium that makes seracs, crevasses and ice volumes visible.

A massif of rock and ice
The ridges, seracs and large faces create very strong compositions. The lakes of Lérié and Goléon bring calmer reflections, while the autumn larches warm the foregrounds without making the relief disappear.
Choosing a photo or artwork of the Écrins massif
The Barre des Écrins, La Meije and Mont Pelvoux provide very alpine compositions, while the Glacier Blanc and the Rouies plateau highlight high mountains and ice. The lakes of Lérié, Goléon, Laramon and Lauvitel offer more open images, where reflections and foregrounds give more depth to the landscape.
