About this image
The Ailefroide valley opens between meadows, forests and the high mountains of the Écrins massif. Vegetation on the valley floor contrasts with the rocky walls that gradually enclose the landscape.
The composition retains several layers and gives prominence to the slopes framing the site. This depth conveys Ailefroide’s steep, enclosed character without reducing the image to a single summit.
Located in the municipality of Vallouise-Pelvoux in the Hautes-Alpes, Ailefroide is one of the major gateways to the high-mountain landscapes of the Écrins.
This Ailefroide valley photo print is printed to order on matte aluminium Dibond, preserving the nuances of the vegetation and the texture of the rocky terrain.
