Water, ice and major reliefs

Start with the lakes for reflections and foregrounds, or the glaciers for high mountains, seracs and moraines.

Architecture and inhabited landscapes

Compare the mountain huts, villages and ski resorts: human settlement is central in each case, but the editorial intent differs between these families.

No. The hub covers the Alpine arc. The French Alps are treated in the greatest depth; the Swiss and Italian Alps are fully eligible whenever there is enough real, credible editorial material to compare them meaningfully.

Are the photo prints mentioned always available?
