Sunsets give warm colors to the rocky face, while reflections and black and white versions emphasize its silhouette more. The summit remains the central subject, even when the train, trees, or village enter the frame.

Reflections, Trains, and Last Glows

Images from Gornergrat offer a very alpine reading of the site. From Zermatt, the Cervin appears closer to village life, especially under snow or during the blue hour.
