About this image
Viewed from above, the pyramid of the Cervin stands out against a network of ridges and valleys. The black and white treatment transforms the sunset light into a succession of values, where the snowy ridges remain bright and the rocky faces sink into shadow. The snowy ridge traces a winding line beneath the pyramid. From one side to the other, the dark flanks and pale surfaces make its changes of direction easy to follow. This course guides the aerial view towards the summit, while the shadows preserve the depth of the walls: black and white brings out the continuity of the terrain into the distance.
The photograph retains a strong geographical dimension: ridges follow one another, slopes plunge towards the valleys, and snow highlights the vanishing lines. The monochrome reinforces this structure without erasing the intermediate nuances of rock and sky.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
