Photos of the lakes, peaks and valleys of the Alpes-Maritimes
This collection brings together several landscapes of the Alpes-Maritimes around Mercantour: Cime du Gélas, the Gordolasque valley, the Vens lakes, Lac Long Supérieur and the Refuge des Merveilles, as well as melting snow near Lac de la Fous and the relief around Col de la Bonette. Chamois and ibex complete the selection in their mountain environment.
The photographs are printed to order on matte aluminium Dibond. This support limits reflections and keeps the nuances of water, rock, snow and Mercantour landscapes clearly visible.

High-altitude lakes, peaks and Mercantour wildlife
The Vens lakes and the Merveilles area give water and large mountain forms an important place in the image. Gélas and Bonette offer more mineral and open landscapes, while Gordolasque adds a greener side of the mountains. Chamois and ibex scenes provide a closer view of Mercantour.
Choosing an Alpes-Maritimes photo print
For a broad landscape, lakes and summit views put more emphasis on space and light. Wildlife photographs offer a closer composition while keeping the animals within the Mercantour landscape.
