About this image
The Col de la Bonette area offers an open landscape of high-altitude meadows, scree and rounded summits. The lines of the slopes and the wooded areas structure the vastness of the Southern Alps. The absence of large buildings leaves the mountains and the sense of space in full view. A rocky promontory anchors the foreground. Beyond it, yellow and green grasses cover the slopes, where scattered conifers herald the forest in the valley. The distant mountains extend this opening, with no road organising the view. The composition is built around the transitions between stone, meadow and woodland in a landscape of broad forms.
The pass is located at 2,715 meters between the Ubaye and Tinée valleys, on the border of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Alpes-Maritimes departments. The road continues its ascent around the Cime de la Bonette and reaches 2,802 meters on its summit loop, in the heart of the Parc national du Mercantour.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
