Photographs of the lakes, peaks and valleys of Mercantour

From Lac d’Allos to Vallée des Merveilles
Lac d’Allos appears in two compositions facing the Tours du Lac. Further east, Lac Long Supérieur and Refuge des Merveilles, the Vens lakes and melting snow near Lac de la Fous give an important place to water and the surrounding relief.
Peaks, valleys and wildlife of Mercantour
Cime du Gélas, Vallée de la Gordolasque and Col de la Bonette show a more mineral and open Mercantour. Scenes with chamois, marmots or ibex tighten the framing without leaving the landscape.
Choosing a Mercantour photo print
To reconnect with a broad landscape, we would start with a lake, valley or peak you feel connected to. Wildlife images offer something closer, while keeping the relief around the subject. The photographs are offered on matte Dibond aluminium, made to order.
Which Mercantour landscapes are represented?
