About this image
Viewed from above, Lake Allos appears at the bottom of a vast cirque dominated by the Tours du Lac. The panoramic framing reveals the shape of the body of water, its islets, the vegetated banks, and the succession of larches, scree slopes, and then large rock walls. The entire geography of the site becomes immediately legible. The turquoise water stands out against the golden grasslands and wooded areas bordering the basin. Higher up, the rock forms an almost continuous enclosure beneath the clouds. This downward view conveys the transition between the still-vegetated shores and the great walls: the lake becomes the point of colour around which the cirque unfolds.
Located at an altitude of 2,228 metres in the commune of Allos, the lake is situated in the heart of the Parc national du Mercantour. It is surrounded by Annot sandstone formations, whose main towers enclose the landscape and give this sector of the Southern Alps a very unique mineral identity.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
