About this image

An aerial view reveals the Cervin as the evening light reaches its upper ridges. From this height, the snowy slopes, rocky faces, and neighboring ridges overlap with a depth less perceptible from the valley floor. The snow-covered ridge extends in a line towards the pyramid, while the golden faces stand out against the blue shadows. The clear sky leaves this arrangement of the terrain plainly visible. At this scale, the photograph shows the course of the lines between the ridges as much as the shape of the summit itself, set within the continuity of the surrounding mountains.

The photograph combines the warm light of sunset with the grays of gneiss and the colder whites of snow. The aerial angle highlights the consecutive ridges, deep valleys, and the isolation of the Cervin in the middle of the Alpes valaisannes.

The summit rises to 4,478 meters between Switzerland and Italy. It overlooks Zermatt, in Valais, and Breuil-Cervinia, in the Aosta Valley. Its pyramid rests on four distinct faces that change significantly depending on the viewpoint's orientation.

If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
