About this image
From Lake Laramon, the gaze travels across the water's surface and the first ridges before reaching the glacial peaks of the Écrins massif. The Barre des Écrins and Montagne des Agneaux appear on the horizon, while the Queyrellin ridge closes off part of the landscape. Small ripples animate the foreground water in front of rocky banks and brown grasses. A few patches of snow appear near the lake, before the much whiter glacial horizon. This difference in snow cover makes the distance tangible, separating the shoreline details from the great mountain masses at the back of the view.
The photograph combines several families of shapes: an irregular shoreline, calmer water, mineral ridges, then high snow-covered peaks. This progression gives depth to the image and places Lake Laramon within the vast landscape of the Briançonnais region.
The lake overlooks the Clarée valley above Névache, in the Hautes-Alpes. Its position in the Cerces massif offers an exceptionally open panorama towards the Écrins, separated from the foreground by a succession of valleys, plateaus, and rocky ridges.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
