Photos of Arnicas Montanas in Haute-Savoie

I am an amateur photographer and I love capturing the beauties of nature. During a hike in Contamines-Montjoie , in Haute-Savoie , I was struck by the beauty of the arnicas montanas . These yellow flowers, with star-shaped petals, grow at altitude and are emblematic of the region.

I decided to take a series of photos of these flowers. I wanted to immortalize their beauty and their fragility. The photos were taken in bright daylight, to highlight the bright colors of the flowers.

I used a wide-angle lens to capture as much detail as possible. The photos are available for sale in table format. They are printed on high quality paper and mounted on a wooden frame. They are perfect for decorating an interior or giving as a gift.

Mountain arnica is a perennial plant in the Asteraceae family. Its leaves, opposite or in a rosette, are simple and entire. Its flowers, in capitulum, are yellow. It flowers from May to August. Arnica is toxic and medicinal.
