About this image

Flowers of mountain arnica stand out in an alpine meadow in Haute-Savoie. Their yellow petals occupy the foreground, surrounded by taller grasses and touches of green vegetation that give the image a soft and natural depth. The yellow flower heads are carried on upright stems that stand apart from the meadow background. The framing allows the eye to follow the shape of the petals and the arrangement of the flowers at different heights. Yellow draws the eye first, then the finer lines of the stems give depth to this small plant scene among the grasses.

The close-up framing favors the flower's shapes and light rather than a wide landscape. The blurred areas in the background delicately isolate the petals, while the golden yellows, greens, and browns compose a luminous palette without overload.

The scene belongs to the mountain meadows of Haute-Savoie. Arnica montana grows in mountain meadows and grasslands, where its summer bloom brings vibrant color amidst the grasses and alpine slopes.

This photo print of mountain arnica in Haute-Savoie is printed to order on matte Dibond aluminium. The rendition captures the delicacy of the petals, the nuances of the meadow, and the summer atmosphere of this nature photograph.
