Vanoise: Mountain photo prints (Alps) | Alu Dibond Premium Print

My Photo Paintings of the Vanoise — France's First National Park

The Vanoise holds a special place in my heart as a photographer. The first French national park, created in 1963, this Savoyard massif has provided me with some of my most beautiful high-mountain images. From the Grande Casse (3,855 m), the highest peak in Savoie, to the legendary mountain huts perched at over 2,500 meters altitude, every outing in the Vanoise is an adventure.

My collection of photographic prints of the Vanoise is the result of dozens of hikes and bivouacs in this pristine mountain range. I photographed sunrises over glaciers, mountain huts under the stars, snow-covered ridges, and curious marmots. Each image captures the essence of this wild territory, printed on matte Dibond aluminum to enhance your interior.

My Iconic Photos of the Vanoise

La Vanoise — My Favorite Playground in Savoie

La Grande Casse — 3,855 m, Roof of Savoy

The Grande Casse dominates the Vanoise National Park. I photographed this iconic peak from Pralognan, from the Col de la Vanoise, and even from Courchevel . At sunrise, when the first rays of light set its glacial ridges ablaze, the spectacle is breathtaking.

The Mythical Mountain Refuges — Guardians of the Mountain

The mountain huts in the Vanoise are magical places that I have photographed in all kinds of light:

  • Vanoise Refuge (formerly Félix Faure) : Perched at the Vanoise pass (2,517 m), facing the Grande Casse
  • Valette Refuges : Two twin cabins in a wild cirque
  • Plan du Lac Refuge : On the shores of a high-altitude lake, Nordic atmosphere
  • Arpont Refuge : Starting point for the Vanoise glaciers

I captured these mountain huts at sunrise, under the stars, or covered in snow during winter. Each image tells the story of these guardians of the mountain.

The Vanoise Glaciers — Giants of Ice

The Gébroulaz glacier , the Grande Casse glacier , and the Chavière glacier are subjects I have photographed over the seasons. These ice giants, witnesses to the passage of time, offer striking graphic compositions.

The Wildlife of the Vanoise — Wild Encounters

The Vanoise is home to exceptional wildlife that I had the chance to photograph: ibex on the ridges, curious marmots , agile chamois and bearded vultures soaring above the valleys.

Vanoise: national park, Alpine massif and legendary refuges

I have been photographing the Vanoise National Park and its massif for years: Grande Casse (3,855 m), Grande Motte , Dent Parrachée , landscapes of Tignes and Val d'Isère , Lac des Vaches towards Pralognan, valleys of Haute-Maurienne . At the golden hours - dawn and sunset - I capture the light that reveals glaciers , ridges and forests , then I edit each image into a Premium Print mountain photo canvas on Dibond aluminum ( matte , clear, without reflection) - ideal for elegant and durable wall decoration .

Vanoise: activities, shelters and decorative ideas

The Vanoise can be experienced all year round: hiking to the high-altitude lakes, trekking (GR5) , glacier mountaineering , ski touring and snowshoeing in winter, wildlife observation ( ibex , chamois , bearded vulture). For the home, I like to compose soothing works: blue snow, graphic rocks, larch forests... Each photo painting brings a visual breath and a sober alpine style, perfect for a living room, an office or a bedroom.
