About this image
At dawn, the Dent Parrachée, Dôme de Chasseforêt and Mont Pelve gradually emerge into the light. The first rays catch the ridges and couloirs, while the lower slopes remain immersed in bluish shadows. Pink light unifies the large rounded snow-covered mass and the neighbouring peaks above a white plain still in shadow. A small celestial body and fine streaks punctuate the sky. At sunrise, this distribution of tonal values reveals two complementary movements: the horizontal spread of the foreground and the rise of the relief toward the light.
The photograph brings several profiles together without merging them: sharp ridges, more rounded domes and mineral walls respond to one another in a broad reading of the relief. The warm-cool contrast creates natural depth and precisely conveys the transition from night to day.
These high peaks belong to the Vanoise massif in Savoie. They dominate the valleys and glaciers of the national park, forming one of the major high-mountain ensembles between Haute Maurienne and the Pralognan area.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
