About this image
Day breaks over the Gébroulaz glacier, Dôme de Polset and Aiguille de Péclet. The morning rays reveal the lines of the ice, the ridges and the valleys, while areas still in shadow retain cool, deep tones. A white slope opens the photograph in front of the jagged range. A sea of clouds fills the valley and separates the summits beneath a pink and blue sky. This alternation of snow, mist and rocky peaks creates several layers of depth in the panorama: the foreground remains continuous, then the horizon breaks into illuminated ridges and darker passages.
The composition follows the natural movement of the eye, from the softer forms of the glacier to the summits that close the horizon. The contrast between snow, ice and rock gives the image a mineral presence without hiding the details of the relief.
This area lies in the Vanoise massif, between the valleys of Méribel, Pralognan and Val Thorens. Dôme de Polset reaches 3,497 metres and Aiguille de Péclet 3,561 metres, above an environment marked by several high-altitude glaciers.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
