About this image

Aiguille du Fruit rises above the relief of Col du Fruit and the Avals valley. Its limestone lines, ledges and ridges occupy the heart of the composition, with low-angle light defining the volumes without hardening the scene. From La Saulire, the great rocky tower stands on the left, close and darker than the white basin in the background. A central passage leads toward the Péclet group, farther away on the right. The expanse of snow makes this change in distance particularly clear, between the mass of Aiguille du Fruit and the more distant relief in the photograph.

The photograph emphasizes the material quality of the mountain: limestone strata, breaks in slope and successive shadows create a highly graphic reading. The colours remain natural, blending stone greys, light ochres and sky blues.

This summit reaches 3,051 metres in the Vanoise massif, between Courchevel and Méribel. It dominates an area of bowls, passes and high-altitude valleys marking the transition between the ski areas of Les Trois Vallées and the wilder spaces of the national park.

If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
