About this image
The first light reaches Grande Casse before the valleys around it. The upper part of the summit glows with golden and pink tones, while the walls, snowfields and hollows of the relief still retain the coolness of the night. The double summit ridge defines the silhouette of Grande Casse. To the left, rocky points extend its profile, while a closer ridge forms a base in front of the snow-covered faces. Golden touches cover only part of this ensemble: this selective light makes it possible to read the breaks in the relief, from the first ridges to the walls still in shadow.
The framing emphasizes the power of the summit and the progression of the light. The ridge lines remain readable, the shadows give volume to the walls and the limited palette reinforces the calm, monumental character of the scene.
At 3,855 metres above sea level, Grande Casse is the highest point of the Vanoise massif and of the Savoie department. It dominates the Pralognan-la-Vanoise area and is one of the major landmarks of the national park.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
