Chalet 4810 in Saint-Gervais: luxury mountain décor with the Mont-Blanc collection
Share
For this project, the owner of the luxury double chalet 4810 in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains , offered for rent by Le Collectionist , wanted a wall decoration worthy of the place: raw wood, Mont Blanc view… and mountain photo paintings that really tell the story of the massif.
Together, we envisioned a visual journey around Mont Blanc , primarily using my Mont Blanc – Haute-Savoie collection , printed on Dibond aluminum for a matte, crisp, and glare-free finish. Each room in the chalet has its own signature artwork, from the living room to the bedrooms and even the staircase.

A luxury double chalet facing Mont Blanc
Chalet 4810 comprises two independent chalets , connected and furnished with a warm and inviting feel: plenty of wood, generous spaces, and a typically Alpine atmosphere. The aim of the wall decoration:
- to remain consistent with the timber architecture ;
- to really showcase the Mont Blanc massif and the surrounding peaks;
- to offer large formats , visible from the entrance into each room;
- to maintain an elegant, glare-free finish, suitable for a luxury rental.
We therefore opted for large-format Dibond aluminum panels , selected from the Mont-Blanc collection and from some related series (Aiguilles Rouges, Fiz, ski touring).
Cozy rooms, a signature painting above each bed
In the bedrooms, the brief was clear: create a strong focal point above each bed, which integrates perfectly with the woodwork and bed linen.

In this twin room, a panorama of snow-capped peaks at sunset extends the lines of the wood. The panoramic Dibond aluminum panel occupies the entire space above the two beds, without reflections despite the ceiling lighting.
In the double room, a gentler scene of snow-covered chalets facing the mountains enhances the cozy atmosphere. The cool tones of the snow balance the warm hues of the wood, and the painting becomes the centerpiece of the headboard.

In the main suite, a panoramic view of mountain peaks and fresh snow fills the entire width of the wall. The style remains true to the Mont-Blanc collection, with simple lines, a wide framing, and soft lighting.
A monumental black and white triptych of Mont Blanc
The heart of the project lies in one of the chalet's large spaces: a black and white triptych , created from a view of the Mont Blanc massif. The owner wanted a striking piece, almost like a window opening onto the high mountains.

We worked from the high-resolution file, cropping the image to create several aluminum panels which, once aligned, recreate the complete scene. The black and white enhances the graphic quality of the ridges, seracs, and glaciers, while also complementing the wood and mineral decor of the chalet.
Trade show & traffic: the mountains in motion
Beyond static landscapes, the owner also wanted images that evoked movement and the practice of mountain sports. The cathedral-ceilinged living room and the staircase therefore housed two very powerful paintings.

In the living room, a large vertical print of powder snow dominates the seating area. The contrast between the white snow and the dark wood creates an immediate visual impact, perfectly suited to the chalet's high ceilings.

In the stairwell, an image of mountaineers on a ridge of the Mont Blanc massif accompanies movement between floors. The desired effect: to give the impression of walking towards the summits oneself with each passage.
Why the owner chose Dibond aluminum
For a luxury chalet for rent , the choice of substrate was essential. Dibond aluminum was the obvious choice for several reasons:
- Matte finish and no reflections , even with many spotlights and light fixtures.
- Rigid and durable support , ideal in a high-traffic environment.
- Large formats are possible without warping, with beautiful precision in the details of snow and rock.
- Easy to clean with just a soft cloth.
