Chalet 4810 in Saint-Gervais: luxury mountain décor with the Mont-Blanc collection
For this project, the owner of the double luxury chalet 4810 in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, offered for rent by Le Collectionist, wanted wall decor that matched the setting: raw wood, Mont Blanc views… and mountain photo prints that truly tell the story of the massif.
Together, we designed a visual journey around Mont Blanc, largely based on my Mont Blanc – Haute-Savoie collection, printed on Dibond aluminum for a matte, crisp, and glare-free finish. Each room in the chalet has its signature artwork, from the living room to the bedrooms and the staircase.

A double luxury chalet facing Mont Blanc
Chalet 4810 consists of two independent chalets, connected and furnished in a cozy style: lots of wood, generous volumes, and a typically alpine atmosphere. The goal of the wall decor:
- remain consistent with the wooden architecture;
- truly highlight the Mont Blanc massif and the surrounding peaks;
- offer large formats, visible from the entrance of each room;
- maintain an elegant, glare-free finish, suitable for a luxury rental.
We therefore opted for large-format Dibond aluminum prints, selected from the Mont Blanc collection and a few neighboring series (Aiguilles Rouges, Fiz, ski touring).
Cozy bedrooms, a signature print above each bed
In the bedrooms, the brief was clear: create a strong focal point above each bed, perfectly integrated with the wood paneling and bedding.

In this twin room, a panorama of snowy ridges at sunset extends the lines of the wood. The panoramic format on Dibond aluminum fills the entire space above the two beds, without glare despite the ceiling lighting.
In the double bedroom, a softer scene of snowy chalets facing the mountains enhances the cozy atmosphere. The cold tones of the snow balance the warm hues of the wood, and the print becomes the centerpiece of the headboard.

In the master suite, a panoramic print of ridges and fresh snow covers the entire width of the wall. We maintained the spirit of the Mont Blanc collection, with simple lines, a wide frame, and soft light.
A monumental black & white triptych of Mont Blanc
The heart of the project is located in one of the chalet's large spaces: a black & white triptych, constructed from a view of the Mont Blanc massif. The owner wanted a strong piece, almost like an open window to the high mountains.

We worked from the high-resolution file, re-framing the visual to create several aluminum panels that, once aligned, recreate the complete scene. The black & white reinforces the graphic aspect of the ridges, seracs, and glaciers, while harmonizing with the chalet's wood-mineral decor.
Living room & circulation: mountains in motion
Beyond static landscapes, the owner also wanted images that evoke movement and the practice of mountain sports. The cathedral-ceiling living room and the staircase thus received two very striking prints.

In the living room, a large vertical print of skiing in powder dominates the seating area. The contrast between the white snow and the dark wood creates an immediate visual impact, perfectly suited to the chalet's high ceilings.

In the stairwell, an image of alpinists on a Mont Blanc massif ridge accompanies movement between floors. The desired effect: to give the impression of walking towards the summits oneself with each passage.
Why the owner chose Dibond aluminum
For a luxury rental chalet, the choice of material was essential. Dibond aluminum stood out for several reasons:
- Matte and glare-free finish, even with numerous spotlights and fixtures.
- Rigid and durable support, ideal in a high-traffic environment.
- Large formats possible without warping, with excellent precision in snow and rock details.
- Easy maintenance with a simple soft cloth.
