About this image
Under a pink end-of-day sky, Tignes unfolds between snow, chalets, and the peaks of the Vanoise. The soft lights of the sky echo the bluish tones of the slopes, while inhabited areas remain discernible without interrupting the grandeur of the landscape. The pink and purple sky occupies a very large area above the white range. Below, chalets and buildings form distinct volumes in the snowy resort. This arrangement gives the landscape breathing room above, while the details of the buildings provide a nearby scale before the slopes and summits.
The color palette is the main guiding thread of the photograph. The pinks and purples of the sky extend in touches into the snow, shadows reveal volumes, and buildings give scale to the landscape without becoming dominant.
The resort occupies the heights of the Haute-Tarentaise, in Savoie. Its various villages and built-up areas are set in a high-mountain environment where lakes, ski runs, and summits create a particularly open landscape.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
