About this image
The snow-covered Hohneck catches the last rays of sunlight above the Vosges ridges. The upland pastures and white slopes take on golden hues, while the hollows of the relief remain marked by bluish shadows that give volume to the snow. A small building can be distinguished on the rounded summit. Nearby, blocks dot the snow before the cliff edge lit in gold. This succession of reference points gives depth to the ridge: the white surface appears gentle in its upper part, then the terrain becomes steeper where the light catches the rock.
The photograph prioritizes the continuity of lines over an isolated detail. The sunset reveals changes in slope and wind-swept surfaces, while the sky retains a warm light soft enough not to overpower the nuances of winter.
The Hohneck culminates at 1,363 meters in the Hautes-Vosges, between the departments of Vosges and Haut-Rhin. Its summit overlooks the Munster valley, several glacial cirques, and part of the Route des Crêtes.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
