About this image
From Bellevarde, the gaze sweeps across alpine pastures, rocky ridges, and snowfields before reaching Grande Motte and its glacier. A small turquoise reservoir occupies the foreground, adding a vibrant touch amidst the mineral tones. The turquoise reservoir in the foreground, the ridges, and the glacier guide the eye from Val d'Isère towards the Tignes area. Pistes and paths cross the slopes in several directions between grasslands and mineral areas. Above them, large clouds accompany the largely snow-covered terrain. The small blue reservoir provides a clearly defined point of colour within this network of lines, before the view reaches the more continuous forms of the glacier at the back of the landscape.
The Bellevarde viewpoint overlooks Val d'Isère in Haute-Tarentaise. Facing it, the Grande Motte rises to 3,653 metres in the Vanoise massif. Its glacial environment is one of the major landmarks in the landscape between Tignes, Val Claret, and the neighbouring high valleys.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
