From the Pic de Barlet, Lake Crop appears below, nestled within a rocky amphitheater in Belledonne. The plunging viewpoint reveals the lake's shape, the last snow patches, and the succession of ridges that enclose the valley. The deep blue water appears far below a great rock wall. Around the basin, scree slopes meet a green valley dotted with a few patches of snow. This difference in height is one of the framing's strongest features: the eye descends from the nearby rock masses to the lake, then returns to the lines of the surrounding cirque.
The lake occupies a small place in the composition: it serves as a landmark amidst the scree and mineral volumes. The differences in altitude, soft shadows, and ridge lines enhance the depth of the landscape without overloading the image.
The Pic de Barlet reaches 2,306 meters, while Lake Crop is situated at around 1,900 meters. Le Ferrouillet, Pointe de la Scia, Sommet Colomb, and Les Trois Officiers structure this wild sector of Isère, above the Grésivaudan Valley.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
