About this image
At sunrise, Lac Long takes on the first colours of the sky and the silhouettes of the Cerces massif. The calm water forms a luminous surface between the mineral shores, the high-altitude grasses and the already warm hues of autumn. Two tiny figures can be seen on the right shore, beside the russet grasses. The reflection extends the pink ridges and gives the morning colours a broad continuity. The human figures remain a small detail along the shore, but they help convey the width of the lake against the mountain forms repeated in the water.
The photograph captures a moment of transition: some parts of the relief already receive a golden light, while others remain bluish. The reflection connects these different areas and adds depth to a calm composition.
The lake is located above Névache, in the Clarée valley and the Hautes-Alpes. This high valley sector combines high-altitude lakes, rocky ridges and larch trees, with landscapes open towards the passes and summits of the Cerces-Thabor massif.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
