At the end of the day, the Alpe d'Huez snowpark stands out against the still luminous slopes under a sky of warm hues. The features, tracks, and silhouettes of skiers bring movement to the foreground, while the resort and mountains extend in layers to the horizon. The snowpark is part of the Grandes Rousses ski area, above Alpe d'Huez in Isère. It is set in a high-altitude landscape open to the Oisans valley, where slopes, lifts, and snow-covered ridges remain in constant relation with the surrounding high peaks.
