About this image
The red Gornergrat train moves through the snow facing the Cervin. Its colorful line crosses an almost entirely white and mineral landscape, while the peak's pyramid dominates the horizon above Zermatt. The white parts of the train echo the snow, while the red outlines its route. The overhead wires add fine lines above the track in front of the snowy rock pyramid. The photograph thus connects the details of the railway with the great silhouette of the Cervin, in a clear progression from nearby equipment to distant mountain.
The train's presence adds movement and a human scale without diminishing the mountain's power. The red of the train guides the eye through the snowy slopes, then the lines of the landscape naturally lead towards the Cervin and the Valais ridges.
The rack railway connects Zermatt to Gornergrat, at over 3,000 meters above sea level. Its route provides access to a vast panorama of the Cervin, the Gorner Glacier, and many peaks over 4,000 meters.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
