The Aiguille de la Vanoise stands with its limestone silhouette above the alpine pastures and scree slopes of Pralognan. Its faces, ridges, and slabs structure the image, with a light that highlights the very particular geometry of this summit. Located near the Col de la Vanoise, the peak faces the Grande Casse and overlooks the pass towards Lac des Vaches.
