About this image
Aiguille de Péclet catches the final colours of the day above Val Thorens. Ridges and snow-covered slopes stand out in warm light, while areas already in shadow take on cooler tones and emphasize the shape of the summit. The rocky ridge turns pink above a snow-covered cirque whose slopes remain bluish. The violet sky accompanies this colour transition while keeping the summit lines clearly separated. In this tight framing, the nuances are read directly on the relief: the upper mountain receives the light, while the curves of the cirque reveal areas already in shadow.
The tight framing gives priority to the relief rather than the resort. Light reveals breaks in slope, couloirs and snow surfaces, with a restrained palette that gives full space to the mountain’s natural geometry.
This summit of the Vanoise massif reaches 3,561 metres. It dominates the Val Thorens area, the Péclet and Gébroulaz glaciers and several high-altitude passes structuring the Les Trois Vallées ski area.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
