About this image

From the Mont Revard belvedere, the gaze plunges towards Aix-les-Bains and Lac du Bourget before reaching the distant reliefs of the Épine and the Alpine massifs. The cliff-edge position gives the panorama immediate depth and an exceptional sense of openness. The wooden walkway fills the foreground with its posts and railing. Their lines lead towards the mist below and the pastel tones of the sky. This built frame gives an immediate sense of the viewpoint’s scale before the terrain stretches into the distance; the nearby wood adds its texture at the edge of the panorama.

The photograph connects the lines of the belvedere, the surface of the lake, and the superimposed reliefs. The man-made elements remain discreet against the landscape, but they provide a concrete scale for the height of the viewpoint.

Le Revard belongs to the Savoie Grand Revard domain, along with La Féclaz and the neighboring plateaus. Its belvederes overlook the eastern shore of Lac du Bourget and offer, on a clear day, views towards Dent du Chat, the Chartreuse, and several Alpine ranges.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?

If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
