From the heights of Mont de Grange, the view spans the Chablais ridges all the way to the Dents du Midi and the Diablerets. Layers of alpine pastures, rocky peaks, and high Swiss mountains combine to give the landscape a particularly expansive depth. Mont de Grange culminates at 2,432 meters in the heart of the Haute-Savoie Chablais. Facing it, the Dents du Midi dominate Valais, while the Diablerets massif extends the horizon between the cantons of Vaud and Valais. This view thus connects the French and Swiss Alps. The grassy ridge in the foreground contrasts with the more mineral and sometimes snow-capped reliefs in the background. The panoramic framing allows the different mountain ranges to breathe and highlights their silhouettes without confusing them, in a palette of greens, greys, and atmospheric blues.
