About this image
The summits of the Belledonne massif take on warm light as the sun disappears behind the ridges. Granite crests, scree and hanging valleys gradually stand out between areas still golden and slopes already immersed in cooler tones. A dark forest fills the foreground in front of the snow-covered range. Coloured clouds fill the valley beneath an orange sky, and several mountain faces still catch golden light. The photograph connects these different layers through their tonal values: trees provide a dense base, mist softens the distances and snow illuminates the upper lines of the panorama.
Low-angle light reveals the modelling of the granite and emphasizes the succession of planes without hardening the scene. Ochres, pinks and blues mix across the relief, giving the panorama natural depth and the silent atmosphere of late day.
The range stretches mainly between Isère and Savoie above the Grésivaudan and Romanche valleys. Its high summits approach 3,000 metres and overlook a dense network of lakes, passes and high-altitude combes.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
