About this image

At sunset, the Seljalandsfoss waterfall plunges down a dark cliff as light filters through the spray. The golds and pinks of the sky mingle with the blues of the water and the greens at the base of the cliff, creating a luminous scene without diminishing the power of the fall. The curtain of water is seen from the side, with an opening towards the back of the falls. Below, the turbulent pool releases the Seljalandsá river into the green plain. Golden light stays low beneath the dark sky and illuminates this passage of water, from the vertical fall to the more horizontal course crossing the landscape.

The photograph captures the continuous movement of the waterfall and the diffusion of light in the fine droplets. The brightest areas remain concentrated around the water, while the cliff and terrain add deeper contrasts to the composition.

Seljalandsfoss is located on the south coast of Iceland, near the Ring Road. Approximately 60 meters high, the waterfall is distinguished by the path that allows visitors to walk behind its curtain of water when conditions are suitable.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?

If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
