The Grand Hôtel-Dieu is reflected in the Rhône, with its large dome and long facades aligned along the quay. The water extends the building's volumes and transforms the city lights into soft lines, gently interrupted by the river's movement. Located in the heart of the Presqu'île, the former hospital is one of Lyon's great heritage complexes. Its monumental facade lines the right bank of the Rhône and remains visible from the quays and landscaped banks on the opposite side. This alternative view gives an important place to the reflection without reducing the image to perfect symmetry. The details of the dome and wings remain legible, the shades of stone echo the blues of the river, and the warm lights add depth to the landscape.
