About this image

From the heights of Néouvielle, several high-altitude lakes appear between granite valleys, meadows, and Pyrenean ridges. The blue surfaces follow one another at different distances and immediately give scale to the entire massif. A hiker stands on the rocky path overlooking the lakes. Wooded valleys connect the blue waters before the dark ridges on the horizon. This nearby figure gives scale to the terrain being crossed, while the path provides an entry into the composition and leads the eye towards the basins below.

The panoramic format preserves the connections between the basins, rocky outcrops, and vegetated areas. The blues of the water regularly interrupt the grays and greens, while the lines of the relief guide the eye from one lake to another.

This sector of the Hautes-Pyrénées is known for the density of its bodies of water, its mountain pine forests, and its landscapes sculpted by ancient glaciers. The photograph shows less an isolated lake than a true lacustrine territory viewed from the peaks.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?

If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
