About this image
A hiker stands facing Lake Bachalp and the snow-capped peaks of the Bernese Oberland. Placed at the water's edge, his silhouette becomes a discreet anchor point in a much larger landscape. It immediately gives scale to the lake, the slopes, and the Schreckhorn dominating the horizon. The figure stands out on a rock just in front of the blue water. Russet grasses along the banks add a warm colour beneath the snowy slopes in the distance. This small dark point, placed between water and mountain, gives the scene a direction: the eye reaches the summits by following the figure facing the landscape.
At an altitude of about 2,265 metres, near First, Lac de Bachalp overlooks Grindelwald. Its shores form a natural viewpoint over the Schreckhorn, the Wetterhorn, and several large glacial reliefs of the Alpes bernoises.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
