The Dent d'Oche and the Château d'Oche rise above the dark forests of the Chablais, their limestone cliffs highlighted by snow. A raking light catches the ridges and most exposed parts, while the base of the relief remains in shadow. This contrast reinforces the abrupt character of the two summits. Located above Bernex, in Haute-Savoie, the Dent d'Oche and the Château d'Oche dominate the alpine pastures near Lake Geneva and the open landscapes towards Lake Léman. The Dent d'Oche reaches 2,221 meters and the Château d'Oche 2,197 meters, forming a major part of the Chablais massif.
