Pointe Percée and the limestone ridges of the Aravis mountain range stand before the high snows of the Mont-Blanc massif. The photograph brings together two very different interpretations of the mountain: light cliffs, lapies, and combes in the foreground, then softer, brighter glacial volumes in the background. A small rounded body of water appears at the lower right amid green alpine pastures. This nearby detail contrasts with the very distant glacial mass. Between them, the limestone ridges organise the layers of the panorama and reveal the transition from pastures to cliffs, then to the high snows. The photograph thus preserves several scales within a single alpine landscape.
Rising to 2,750 meters, Pointe Percée is the highest point in the Aravis mountain range. It overlooks the alpine pastures located between Le Grand-Bornand, La Clusaz, and the Arve valley. From certain sides of the massif, its profile naturally stands out against Mont-Blanc and the great peaks of Haute-Savoie.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
