Photo print of the Vallée de Roselend in the Beaufortain, Savoie

A meadow dotted with white flowers opens the view of the Roselend valley. On the right, a small cabin with a grey roof brings a human presence to the foreground; behind it, the wooded valley recedes between the alpine pastures and the mountains. At the far end of the valley, patches of snow remain on the rocky range, their white colour subtly echoing the nearby flowers.

The succession of meadows, mountain paths and peaks gives this photograph by Denis Belitsky its depth. The landscape remains open and pastoral, with enough detail to distinguish the nearby terrain before the slopes converge in the distance. The greens of the grass and woods accompany the rockier masses on the horizon.

Roselend belongs to the Beaufortain, in Savoie, in the Beaufort area of France. The Pointe de Presset and Pierra Menta, the latter on the right, structure the horizon. Pierra Menta's rocky silhouette provides a particularly recognisable landmark among the other peaks. These heights extend the character of the Beaufortain, between hiking, alpine pastures and high mountains.

This photo print brings a bright, authentic atmosphere to a living room, bedroom or office. Its natural palette suits a contemporary interior as well as a chalet. Printing to order on matte aluminium Dibond reproduces the details of the panorama and the fine contours of the mountains while limiting reflections. This view continues the discovery of photo prints of the Beaufortain massif in Savoie.
