About this image
On the banks of the Saône, the Saint-Georges footbridge crosses the river in front of the facades of Vieux Lyon. The Saint-Georges church stands at the foot of the hill, while the Notre-Dame de Fourvière basilica dominates the scene in the sunset light. The red of the footbridge stands out in front of the bell tower and the facades on the opposite bank. The pink and blue sky is repeated in the water beneath the basilica overlooking the hill. These colours connect the nearby line of the bridge to the highest point of the cityscape, preserving the different levels of the district between river and hilltop.
The warm hues of the sky extend into the Saône and soften the stone volumes. The footbridge creates a light line in the foreground, then the gaze gradually ascends towards the two religious buildings and the silhouette of the hill.
The Saint-Georges district occupies the southern part of Vieux Lyon, between the river and the Fourvière slopes. This perspective brings together several city landmarks without isolating them: footbridge, church, quays, historic facades, and basilica compose a continuous urban landscape.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
