The first snows clinging to the summits contrast with the warm colors of autumn, creating a spectacular transition between the valley vegetation and the high mountains. These silhouettes belong to the Mont Blanc massif. The Aiguille Verte rises to 4,122 meters, while the Drus nearby present their very steep granite walls, deeply linked to the history of mountaineering in Chamonix. The richness of the photograph comes from the opposition of textures and seasons.
