About this image
The red train of the Bernina Express follows the curve of the Viaduc de Landwasser before entering the tunnel carved into the rock face. Around the structure, the autumn forest blends yellows, browns, and greens, while the light stone of the viaduct echoes the tones of the landscape. The tunnel opens on the left, continuing the curve of the train. The tall arches form bright passages between the trees in their mixed autumn colours. The photograph shows the structure within its terrain: the red line of the train follows the stone, then disappears into the Swiss mountain above the wooded slope.
The curve of the rails immediately draws the eye towards the tunnel. The size of the train provides an accurate measure of the structure's height, while the seasonal colours soften the presence of the architecture. The landscape and railway heritage thus remain perfectly balanced.
Located near Filisur in the Grisons, the viaduct is part of the Albula Line of the Rhaetian Railway. Approximately 142 metres long and 65 metres high, it rests on five masonry pillars and is part of a railway route classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
