About this image
Duingt Castle juts out over the waters of Lac d’Annecy, at the end of a narrow, vegetation-lined peninsula. Its roofs, light-colored walls, and almost water-level location create one of the most recognizable heritage landmarks on the shores. The round tower marks the end of the castle above the turquoise water. On the opposite shore, villages appear at the foot of wooded mountains. These distant landmarks broaden the scene around the monument, while the peninsula retains a clearly defined shape between the two areas of water surrounding it and emphasising its projection into the lake.
The composition highlights the shape of the peninsula and the balance between architecture and landscape. The blues of the lake surround the monument, while the wooded shores and mountains create multiple planes without distracting attention from the castle.
Duingt is located at the point where the lake narrows between the large and small lakes. This position places the castle in the center of a landscape where water, villages, and the mountains of Haute-Savoie are in close proximity.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
