The Cirque de Saint-Même unfolds its amphitheater of cliffs above the meadows and forests of Chartreuse. The wide view shows the succession of limestone walls, waterfalls, and wooded slopes that naturally enclose this valley of Saint-Pierre-d'Entremont. Located at an altitude of around 900 meters, the site is at the foot of the Hauts de Chartreuse nature reserve. Its cliffs, nearly 500 meters high, are home to the sources of the Guiers Vif river and four waterfalls spread throughout the cirque. The panoramic framing gives full scope to the relief without artificially isolating a single waterfall. The greens of the meadow and forest soften the mass of the limestone, while the different layers of the landscape make the depth of the amphitheater legible. This view becomes a photo print of the Cirque de Saint-Même in Chartreuse, printed on demand on matte Dibond aluminium. The rendering preserves the plant nuances, the lines of the cliffs, and the general scale of the site.
