About this image
At the summit of the Grand Ballon, the white radome stands out above a partially snow-covered landscape. The wind has sculpted the snow and cleared certain areas of the terrain, while a raking light emphasises the curves of the relief and the geometry of the structure. Antennas stand alongside the white sphere above the hill. On the areas with little snow, the grass takes on a pink hue beneath the blue sky. This soft colour reveals where the ground remains visible and highlights the regular shape of the radome, whose volume contrasts with the more uneven curves of the winter terrain.
The framing combines technical architecture and winter landscape without one overshadowing the other. The whites of the snow and the radome correspond to the greys of the sky and the darker tones of the terrain, creating a refined and very legible composition.
The Grand Ballon is the highest point of the Vosges massif, in Haut-Rhin. Its radome strongly marks the silhouette of the summit and forms a visible landmark from many areas of the Hautes-Vosges and the Plain of Alsace.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
