Still bordered by snow, Lake Bachalp opens onto the Schreckhorn and the great peaks of the Bernese Oberland. White patches fragment the shores, while lower clouds isolate the summits, giving the landscape the impression of floating above the valley. Hikers dot the shore, making the route along the water visible. Behind them, the band of clouds clearly separates the lake from the high white slopes. This sequence of layers gives each element a precise place: the well-used shore in the foreground, the water in the basin, then the pointed summit rising above the cloud layer.

Lac de Bachalp is located at approximately 2,265 meters above sea level, near First and above Grindelwald. From this natural balcony, one can see the Schreckhorn, the Wetterhorn, and the glacial relief of the Alpes bernoises. In spring, the gradual melting quickly transforms the colors and the design of the shores.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?

If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
