About this image
In autumn, Lake Souliers stands out amidst the ochre and golden alpine pastures. Its almost circular shape and dark water structure the center of the image, while the rocky ridges extend into a calm reflection. The landscape combines the softness of the russet grasses with the harshness of the Queyras scree slopes. Two people can be seen on the opposite shore. Their small size against the long ridge and its scree slopes gives a tangible sense of the cirque’s scale. Golden grasses beside the water soften its edge, while the reflection extends the lines of the terrain into the basin. The human presence remains a small detail in this strongly mineral composition.
Located at an altitude of around 2,490 meters above Arvieux, the lake is near the Col d'Izoard and the Casse Déserte, beneath the mountains of the Rochebrune area. Its open environment, without forests or buildings, gives it a particularly clear high-altitude character.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
