About this image
The blue waters of Lake Mont-Cenis occupy a vast plateau surrounded by alpine pastures and mineral peaks. The curves of the shoreline draw the eye into the landscape, while the different shades of the water give depth to this large mountain lake. A small road follows the right shore at the foot of the alpine pastures. Above the large turquoise lake, billowing clouds give volume to the sky and echo the forms of the rocky mountains. The road provides a discreet landmark in this broad view, where the colours of the water remain central between the slopes and the light of the sky.
The photograph balances the horizontality of the water and the verticality of the mountains. The light shores, the green of the alpine pastures and the grey of the rock frame the blue of the lake without distracting from its shape and size.
Located near Val-Cenis and the Italian border, this reservoir lake belongs to the Haute Maurienne region. The Mont-Cenis plateau has long been a passage between France and Italy, in an open environment where roads, pastures and high mountains coexist.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
