Lake Mont-Cenis stretches at the foot of the Pyramid, surrounded by flowery alpine pastures and the high Maurienne peaks. The monument is an immediately visible architectural landmark, while the water and mountains maintain the full grandeur of the landscape. Another small building stands beside the pyramid-shaped structure on the shore. Nearby flowers add colour to the foreground, before the blue water and grassy mountains. This layering keeps the modest scale of the buildings clear, linking the details of the alpine pasture to the broad forms of the Haute Maurienne landscape.

The composition combines heritage, alpine vegetation, and high mountains without artificially isolating the building. Flowers occupy the foreground, the Pyramid provides a strong geometric shape, and the lake creates a luminous transition to the peaks.

Built on the Plan des Fontainettes, the Mont-Cenis Pyramid houses a chapel and a museum dedicated to the history of this passage between France and Italy. Mont Giusalet and the neighbouring peaks close the horizon above the plateau.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?

If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
