About this image
Isolated above the meadows and forests of Trièves, Mont Aiguille stands out in the soft light of the setting sun. Its limestone cliffs take on warm hues, while the base of the landscape remains cooler and darker. The evening light sharply delineates the tabular silhouette of the summit above Trièves. Dark conifers occupy the lower part of the image beneath the isolated rock tower. In the distance, snowy ranges follow one another in paler light. The pink-orange sky unites these layers, from nearby trees to distant summits. Mont Aiguille’s silhouette remains the meeting point between the wooded foreground and this mountain horizon.
Mont Aiguille culminates at 2,087 meters on the eastern edge of the Vercors. Separated from the main plateau by erosion, it is one of the most recognizable landforms in the French Prealps. Its ascent in 1492 is often associated with the beginnings of mountaineering history.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
